Using Photohydroionization to remove pollutants from the air.

The patented Photohydroionization® advanced oxidation process utilises a broad wavelength UV lamp that projects UV energy at 100-300 nm onto a proprietary quad-metallic hydrophilic catalyst surface to promote the conversion of naturally occurring water vapor into airborne molecules of Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2).

Hydrogen Peroxide occurs naturally in the atmosphere and the levels produced by the PHI-CELL® technology are actually below those you will find outdoors, while being effective enough to actively remove pollutants from the air and surfaces.

Using charged air particles to gather harmful particles and render them harmless

In addition to releasing hydrogen peroxide, the PHI-CELL® creates a process called bipolar ionization in which the air molecules are positively or negatively charged. As charged air particles spread through an indoor space they attach to pollutants and remove hydrogen from the cell walls of the microbes, rendering them harmless.
The technology is safe for people and pets and uses no chemicals, so can be operated continuously in all indoor environments.
